DoorDash is without a doubt one of the leading food delivery services in San Francisco in the United States. If you’re reading this article, chances are you’ve used their services more than once before. However, there might come a time when you need to change your delivery address with DoorDash.
If you are in a new location that is near your most recent dashing location, you can immediately DASH NOW or SCHEDULE A DASH without making any changes on your Dasher app.
If, on the other hand, you want to dash in a completely new location that’s not near your most recent dashing location, you can automatically update your dashing location right in the Dasher app.
How to Change Location on DoorDash
On Computer:
1. Open the app to see all the starting points around your current location, like always.
2. If the Dash Now option is enabled (area is busy), you’ll see a pop-up confirming you would like to dash to your new location.
3. By clicking Okay you will change your dashing location and allow you to start a dash.
4. If Dash Now is not enabled (area not busy), you have 3 options.
5. Go to a busier starting point (shown as red in the app) and then click Dash Now.
On Android:
1. Tap your preferred dashing location on the map.
2. Then, tap Change when the app asks if you would like to update your dashing location.
On iOS:
1. Tap on the schedule tab.
2. Then tap Change my dashing location when the app requests would like to update your dashing location.
