The easiest way to achieve this is by logging into the account in a web browser either on desktop or mobile as all the options appear as soon as you log in.
- Visit Vimeo’s official website page.
- Log in by entering your username and password on the login form.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Settings”
- Then click “Account”
- Select the “Delete Account” option
- Re-enter your username and password on the next page.

You’ll be logged out of your account, and you should receive an email saying your account has been deactivated. If you ever want to reactivate the account, you just have to open Vimeo and log back in. Your account will be restored right away.
If you want to permanently delete your Vimeo account, then wait 30 days. After that time period, your account will be removed from the website and you’ll no longer be able to reactivate it back.
