How to Find or Reactivate Deleted Facebook Account

They’re just a lot of reasons you would delete your Facebook account all of a sudden,  maybe it’s just an impulse act, or maybe you want to get rid of some memories and start afresh.

But in most cases, we as friends are curious about what was in the account. If you’re having the same thought, don’t worry. Whether the account is deleted or disabled, it’s still possible to recover posts with some third-party tools.

Facebook states that if your account was deleted by you or someone with your password, there’s no way you can find it. All you can do is create a new account with the same email address you used before. However,  you may not be able to get the same username in your Facebook URL.

1. Find Deleted Facebook Accounts On Search Engines

You can find a deleted Facebook account on Google search. Just type “Site:Facebook.com account name.” Change “account name” to the name of the profile you are trying to find and then press “Enter.” If any results appear, click “Cached” below the search result to view the cached page.

If you use Bing Search Engine, type for “Facebook.com + account name” where “account name” is the name of the deleted account you are trying to find. If results are found, click “Cached page” under the search result to view Bing’s copy of the cached page.

2. Search the Facebook Account in BeenVerified

BeenVerified is a search tool specializing in social media search. It collects data from different social networks and cross-references them with millions of public records. By searching with the Facebook username, you’ll see a report containing all the available information and photos associated with that person.

1. Go to the BeenVerified search page.

2. Enter the Facebook username and click Search.

3. Once it locates a match, it’ll generate a report containing all the available photos and social media accounts linked to the username. You may also see when the account was created and when it became inactive.

Search the Account URL in Wayback Machine

BeenVerified may be familiar with the Wayback Machine: it’s a digital database that allows you to take screenshots of a webpage, also a great source to find information on pages that are no longer available. All you need is a Facebook profile URL and you’re good to go.

1. Go to Wayback Machine website.

2. Enter the account URL of the deleted Facebook account and click Enter.

3. Select a year. Click the colored dots in the calendar to see the cached page.

4. Once you see the cached page, you can upload the image on Social Catfish to search for more information.

How Can I Get my Facebook Back?

If you’ve lost access to your Facebook account, there are a few things you can do to try and regain control. First, check your email address and phone number associated with the account.

If either of those has changed, you’ll need to update your account information in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking “Forgot Password?” on the login screen.

How to Know If You Have Blocked on Facebook

Looking for deleted Facebook accounts you should check whether the person has blocked you. If someone has blocked you, you won’t be able to find their account, even if it’s been permanently deactivated.

To know if someone has blocked you, search for the person’s profile on the Facebook search bar. If they show up, they haven’t blocked you, although they may have unfriended you. That would explain why you couldn’t find them in your friend list.

You can also enter the person’s Facebook account URL directly into your address bar. The profile will be “https://www.facebook.com/first.last.#” “First” represents your friend’s first name, while “last” represents their last name. “#” signifies a numeric code.

If there are 1,000, Peter Lionel, on the platform, each one will have its own numeric code. As a result, this isn’t really practical unless your friend has a very unique name.

If your friend’s profile says “Sorry, This Page Is Not Available,” the account has been deleted. Either that or you’ve been blocked.

Now, copy the person’s profile URL from your browser window, then log out of Facebook. Paste the URL back into your browser and hit Enter. If the page still says “Sorry, This Page Is Not Available,” the account has been deleted. On the other hand, if you can see the person’s profile when you’re logged out, you’ve been blocked.

When someone has blocked you, you won’t be able to see their profile or any of their posts. The person won’t appear in any search results, so you can’t send them any friend requests. You can’t send them messages, even if you had an existing Messenger conversation. You also can’t tag them in photos, invite them to events, or invite them to groups. Basically, you can’t interact with them in any way.

How to Reactivate Deleted Facebook Accounts

You probably browse online and could not find anything. That’s ok. Below I will show you how to reactivate a deleted Facebook profile even if Facebook disables your account for no reason

The top 2 most popular reasons to request the recovery of a deleted or deactivated Facebook account are:

  • Your Facebook account was deleted by you or someone who knew your password.
  • Your Facebook account was deactivated for not following Facebook’s Community Guidelines ( you violated Facebook rules) and you believe this was a mistake.

The good news: you can request to reactivate a deactivated Facebook profile/account by logging in back within 30 days of its deactivation. Here is how:

1. Visit www.facebook.com

2. Enter your Facebook credentials.

3 Click the Login button to access your Facebook account. You must log in within 30 days of deleting your account.

4. Once your ID & Password is accepted, you’ll get the below prompt & two options to choose from: Confirm Deletion or Cancel Deletion, click on the Cancel Deletion option.

5. Then, you can reactivate your deleted Facebook accounts in a few minutes! All your Facebook settings, posts, photos, and videos will remain the way it was when you deleted the account.

Note: Facebook doesn’t allow multiple accounts. You can only create an account for one Facebook account per email. Since each account belongs to one person, use your authentic name on your account. This way, you always know who you’re connecting with

Bear in mind that if your account has been deleted for violating Facebook community guidelines, you may not be able to sign up again with the same email.
