TradeMe provides a simple and safe platform for businesses involving displaying your products online, and also a way to manage a listing. You can list an item you want to sell by following the proper methods.
However, if there is a problem with your items, such as your listing becoming broken, unavailable, or you set wrong details. Whatever reason you have, this article will guide you to delete listing the TradeMe however, subject to the restrictions.
To list your item on TradeMe, you need to provide information about your item. Information in a typical listing includes a title, photo, description, price, payment method, and shipping information. To create a listing:
Go to TradeMe’s Sell Your Item form by clicking the Sell button at the top of any TradeMe page.
Complete the Sell Your Item form.
You will be asked to:
Select a category – To find TradeMe appropriate category for your item, enter keywords into the search box labeled “What are you selling?” and then click the Start selling button.
Write a good title and description – Buyers usually find listings based on their titles, so be sure to write a good one for your listing. Creating descriptions that are clear, complete, and descriptive will help you sell your item. Ensure that all your listing content and images have secure HTTPS content.
1. Enter item specifics – Providing additional item details within a category helps buyers find your item. Not all categories have item specifics.
2. Upload pictures – Including good quality, evenly lit photos of your item help sell your item. You can add and enhance pictures using TradeMe Picture Services.
3. Select a listing format – Understanding the different types of sales and fixed price formats and their pricing options help you become an efficient seller.
4. Select a price – This includes deciding on a starting price and pricing options such as reserve price and Buy It Now to help you get the price you want for your item.

6. Provide payment information – Choose the payment methods you’ll accept: Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, credit cards, or debit cards makes it easy for your buyer to pay you right away so you can post your item faster.
7. Provide shipping information – Specify your ship-to locations as well as the shipping services you offer. Specify handling time based on the amount of time that it will take for you to ship your package after you received cleared payment. This helps buyers understand when they can expect to receive their item.
8. Specify your return policy – Buyers are more comfortable shopping from sellers who offer return policies and we recommend you accept returns. However, even if your policy is that you do not accept returns, you are required to specify this in your listing. If you do not specify a return policy, TradeMe will select a default return policy for you.
Listing is the item you posted on TradeMe, it can be deleted, though you will be asked to indicate a reason why the listing ended early during the deletion process.
TradeMe also gives two options for removing items from your page. You can choose to close the listing, which removes the item from your page but does not delete the product data from your inventory or you can delete the item entirely, which removes its listing from your page and completely clears the product information and history.
How to delete TradeMe listing you’ve posted
Step 1. Log into your TradeMe account and click the My listing menu on the top of the page. It’s at the top of the page on the right-hand side of the page.
Step 2. Locate the item you want to remove on the My listing page. Click the “More button” link to the right of the relevant item and choose “Remove item” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3. On the next screen, scroll down and click Continue.
Step 4. On the next page, select the reason for deleting your listing, then click Continue again.
Your listed item will then be deleted.
Remember that deleting your TradeMe listing will cancel from others viewing it as well as removing the item from the watchlist of any users who might have been keeping an eye on it.
