Jumia Wallet also known as the JumiaPays is a payment platform that allows you to pay for orders, utility bills, airtime recharge, hotel booking, and logistics service.
The Jumia wallet is your online shopping wallet that lets Jumia users hold store credit, cashback, and refunds in escrow before either using it to buy items or withdraw to your bank account.
If you wish to uninstall the Jumia application, then you need to check for money in your Jumia wallet. It is a virtual wallet linked to your Jumia account where you can access your refunds.
This wallet balance can be used for purchases in the future or can be withdrawn at any time. You need to withdraw money from your Jumia wallet and transfer it to your bank account before uninstalling the Jumia application. How to Withdraw From Jumia Wallet
1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click the tab “You”. It is located at the bottom.
3. Go to the “Payment History & Withdrawal” tab and select it.
4. Choose whether to withdraw by transferring to a bank account or to a credit/debit card.
5. Enter your preferred bank with the details.
6. Enter the amount you want to withdraw and follow the instructions to transfer it to your bank account.
The funds will return to the bank account or credit card from which the original payment was taken.
Note:
- It generally takes 48 hours for the withdrawal amount to be visible on your bank account, or 3-5 business days on a credit card.
- The amount would return to the original account that you used, whether it is a bank account or another wallet.
- The deposit cannot be withdrawn to another card. The funds will return to the local bank account or credit card from which the payment was taken originally.
- Please make sure that the amount entered does not exceed the amount of the deposit.
- If you have checked out with the wallet balance and have placed without making payment, the balance applied will stay with the unpaid order.
- If you want to restore the balance, you can cancel the order by clicking the cancel button in my orders. Then, the balance will get refunded to your wallet.
