How to Bypass IP Ban Without VPN

Failing to follow the rules outlined in any website’s Terms of Service Agreement might be the reason why your IP is banned. If your IP has been banned from accessing an online platform or can’t access it because of the geo-restrictions or some other limits, there are still ways to bypass it or start a new account while remaining secure at all times.

However, contrary to what you may have heard, accessing the site via Incognito mode won’t help you bypass an IP ban. The only way to get unbanned is to change your IP address.

We have resourced the best ways to bypass an IP ban without a VPN and the common issues users face when trying to regain access. Before we proceed, the easiest way is to not get banned in the first place by avoiding a breach of the terms and conditions of use of the website or app.

How to Bypass IP Ban Without VPN

1. Use a New Device

As we know, the only tried and sure way to get bypass an IP ban without VPN is to get a new device along with a new phone number/email to set up the account using your mobile data, NOT WIFI. This is currently the most effective workaround method that will allow you to re-register with a new ID and allow you to use the platform once registered.

There is absolutely nothing the website can do that will prevent you from getting and using this method as there is nothing that identifies you as a person on your new phone to them until you connect to a WiFi you’ve used before.

2. Use a Different Network

Connecting to a different network will give you a new IP address and should effectively bypass any IP ban.

For example, if you’re banned when you were connected to your home network, you can try accessing the website with your mobile network, a friend’s home Wi-Fi, or public Wi-Fi. The most convenient and safest way to access any online platform through a different network is to turn your phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Here’s how to set up a hotspot from your mobile device:

  • Go to Settings on your phone and tap Mobile Network.
  • Select Personal hotspot and toggle the switch to turn it on.
  • In the Hotspot Settings menu, set your device name and password.
  • From your computer, find the hotspot in the list of available networks, enter the password, and connect to it.

Some phones have the hotspot network hidden by default. To allow other devices to see and connect to it:

  • Go to Settings and tap on Personal Hotspot.
  • Toggle the switch next to Allow Others to Join.
  • A password will automatically generate for your hotspot, but you can change it anytime.
  • Find your hotspot in the list of available networks on your computer and enter the password to connect to it.

An average Wi-Fi network is typically much faster than mobile data, so you will likely experience latency, and websites consume a lot of data, so you may end up using a lot more mobile data than usual.

3. Check If You Have a Dynamic IP Address

If you have a dynamic IP address, it will automatically change from time to time, without you having to do anything, which will get you to bypass an IP without using a VPN.

If you want the process to be faster, you can force your ISP to give you a new IP address simply by unplugging your modem. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  • See what your current IP address is and write it down  You can use a website and ask Google what your IP address is.
  • Unplug your modem and wait for at least an hour.
  • Plug your modem back in and reconnect to the internet.
  • Check if your IP address has changed.

If you have a dynamic IP address, there is a good chance that keeping your modem unplugged for long enough will give you a new IP address, which will essentially help you to bypass your IP ban.

4. Mobile Device & Data Plan Client

the account identifier you were logged in with and your unique IP address are what the website uses to identify you as the target of a ban.

As such, you can’t just create a new account from the same machine — the IP address is still flagged, meaning they will still be able to identify you.

However, if you have a mobile device with a data plan, you can use this to trick the server and get around the ban.

Here’s how:

  • Turn off the WiFi on your mobile device and leave cellular data on.
  • Launch the mobile app of the website on your phone.
  • Create your new account
  • Log out and turn off your mobile data.
  • Log back on to the desktop with your new account. It should still be allowed to access the website.

Those are ways to bypass an IP ban without using a VPN. You can also access the site with a different IP address. You can do this by connecting to a different network or unplugging your modem for some time to get a new IP address, which only works if your ISP uses dynamic IP addresses.
